Body type: very thin, she has a problem eating because of her fairy form and thus can't really eat that much or very quickly. She is very weak physically.

Type: Sluagh
Hair: same as in human form but is slightly more oily.
Skin: very pale and slightly blue (the sort of skin tone you would expect from someone that has blood that does not fully hold oxygen)
Lips: blue
Teeth: non-existent. Because of this she doesn't talk very loud and has to gum her food. Because she mostly sees this form even when she looks in the mirror she seems to not understand that she can talk a bit louder or can actually chew food. (she is also rather absent minded about the fact that she can say "th" even tho' she shouldn't if she didn't have teeth) Her fairy magic keeps her teeth in her human form from rotting away.
Eyes: what would be the white of her eyes is black and the irises are a light blue and glow, the pupil can widen larger than a normal humans to allow her to see in much darker situation.
Ears: are slightly pointed
Body type: for her type of fairy she is actually really beautiful... however that isn't saying much. She is even more willowy in this form. and almost resembles a ghost in how she moves and how un-naturally thin she looks.
Face: her cheeks are sunken in but she still looks like her human self.
General information
Job: working at a library, poet
Hobbies: reciting poetry and creating it on the fly, punishing those she feels are wrong by invading their dreams and teaching lessons while inside.
Name: Changed her name to Lenore after a character in Poe's poems. (Poe is her favorite poet) She never tells anyone her real name of fairy name so that it is harder to locate or control her.
Abilities: seeing in dark rooms, seeing thing in the fairy realm, invading dreams or seeing what people dream, "talking" to mold, inanimate objects and spiders and actually get responses, she does this by talking to their energies. (for how the conversations go think along the lines of Lenore: "were thou moved or disturbed recently" object either gives an affirmative or negative to that) Dislocating EVERY bone in her body to squeeze through whatever she can get her skull through (she doesn't feel any pain from it but still... it is very disturbing to watch). Very simplistic magic, Extremely flexible and quick, Really sensitive hearing, the ability to for a very short amount of time show people the fairy realm as well as what she looks like as a fairy and sewing.
Familiar: A strange for the most part useless will-o-wisp type being that only exists in the fairy realm. It resembles a small floating ball of dust.
Likes: Reading or creating poetry, learning as much as she can, guarding whatever information she gets, punishing people she deems evil by haunting their dreams and teaching them lessons in the dream and stealing some of their magic energy while at it so that she can keep her fae side alive and with magic. (in a way it is sort of a vampiric effect that attacks the emotions.) Dark areas, Halloween, inspiring a sense of wonder and almost dream like surrealism in other artists. creating new outfits, insects of any kind (the more that people are scared of them the more she likes them) snakes, dark abandoned "haunted" houses, scaring others, coffee shops, old things, dark colors, goths & spiders.
Dislikes: Loud noises (she has sensitive hearing), lots of light or bright colors (hurts her eyes), extremely cute things, things that are pop culture, most electrical devices (most are two noisy or bright for her) people who don't know when to keep their mouth shut, Having all of her secrets revealed,
Outfits: Lenore has a very large variety of outfits almost all of which she creates herself. (If you are going to do a fan art of her feel free to have fun with her outfits) she lives in a modern setting but that doesn't stop her from creating cloths from almost any period she sees fit. The best explanation of her outfits at times can be "classy Goth" She wears feminine dark clothing, Almost all of her outfits have a slightly twisted surreal or off look to them. Another odd fact about some of her outfits (which is displayed on the top picture) is that the outfit may not look the same in the fairy form. Have fun ~_^
(I would prefer that you draw her acting like her if you are doing a fan art. But I am not against seeing her rather put out or annoyed in an outfit or situation opposite of anything she would ever consider putting herself in. For all you who plan to draw her have fun)

Lenore's history (full background):
Her younger life was fairly usual for a little girl and there appear to be nothing wrong with her, Once she became nine however she started to discover a power granted to her by the Sluagh... the ability to become one of them. She was visited a few times by another of this fairy race who spoke in riddles to her about a power she possessed. Most of these visits started out as dreams... but then moved to actually seeing the being that spoke to her in real life. The fairy would always seem to just appear in the shadows of her room allowing her to only see the faint glow from its eyes and speak whispers to her about things that she never heard of before. Things like a new name that she possessed and the things of the night.
For a while she was very scared of this nightly visitor, but after she got used to and his systematic visits she started to try to talk with it. Everything it responded with was a half answer leaving her wondering and almost looking forward to its next visit to try to understand what it meant. At school she started to become more reserved, not really playing with the other students or taking as much enjoyment out of the actions that she used to. As things began to progress she started to become almost mesmerized by things that scared the other students. Spiders, insects, and other creatures that scared the other children for some reason began to look beautiful,
After a few months of the visitor and staying up at night trying to force her eyes to make out more of the individual she started to shun the light of the sun, feeling that it was too bright for her. Whenever she looked into the mirror her reflection looked a bit greyer, and she started to see things for a brief time that no one else could see.
Things began to quickly progress and she slowly started to embrace what was happening to her. After a while the visitor showed himself to her, he appeared to be an almost green individual whose skin looked a bit too large for his body. He dressed in rags of fancy clothing and moved with increasable ease. He took her to some of the places where other fairies gathered at night. She learned and absorbed what she could of this new culture, The colors, the sensations, the magic,.. everything.
She seemed no longer interested in playing with her friends much after this, not that this mattered much to her. A good majority of her friends seemed to only hang out with her so that they could get the information that they needed from school from her brilliant brain. Other people seemed reluctant to try to become her friend from the dark cold air around her. As she became more and more Fairy her very presence seemed to both inspire awe and wonder as well as fear.
After the gradual process she became full fairy, whenever she looked in the mirror she would see both her human side as well as the fairy side, She could easily tell which was which but the fairy side seemed more real to her. As she noticed that she had loosed her teeth in her fairy side she started to eat more carefully and slowly, mostly mashing her food or soaking it in milk before she started to eat it. From this her body began to waist away and her parents (who were already worried about her from her behavior up to this point) started to try to take her to dentists to have them look at her teeth. The dentists would always report that her teeth were in good health and that they didn't see any reason why she acting like she couldn't use them, some suggested that it may be a mental illness. Doctors diagnosed her as chronic depressed, and started to try to give her medicine for it. She escaped taking the pills by washing them down the sink whenever she had to take them.
Once she got a better hold on her powers she stared to use them against the people she once considered her friends to teach them a "lesson" about using other people for your own gain alone. After a few nights of rather intense nightmares her old friends actually stopped threatening others to do their work for them and started doing it themselves. For Lenore there was both a sense of gratification in the fact that they were no longer using her as well as she appeared to have gotten stronger for causing them the dreams.
Things at home weren't going as well for Lenore, The stress caused from her parents concern started to get to her as they kept scheduling more counseling and trying to get her to take stronger drugs to save their daughter. She took a few of the drugs to appease her parents but she could feel the effects start to kill her fae side by trying to pull her back into what they considered reality. After a while of things getting to her, the man that visited her before when she was very little came back and offered her a solution to all of this: To follow him to where the other fairies stayed. She took him up on his offer and ran away from home. Finished her schooling at a home school created by the other Sluaghs and then was sent out to find a job and support herself the best she can while out in the world. She eventually changed her name to keep her now frantic parents from finding her.
She is currently living alone in an apartment with a job at the library and trying to find out more about the different races of fairies. As well as trying as hard as she can to dodge her parents attempts to find her.
